TORONTO (CFL) -– The Canadian Football League announced today the 2007 team Outstanding Players for the Rogers CFL Player Awards. The below players were selected by 40 voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) and eight CFL head coaches.
In this first ballot, five FRC representatives from every CFL city plus the respective head coach submitted votes for each category. Voters were asked to select players from their local CFL club who through on-field performance excellence, best represent the awards’ title - Outstanding Player, Outstanding Canadian Player, Outstanding Defensive Player, Outstanding Offensive Lineman, Outstanding Rookie, and Outstanding Special Teams Player.
The East and West Rogers CFL Player Award voting results will be announced on Wednesday, October 31.
