Stefan Logan says hi

Just got back from Pittsburgh, where me and the boys hit the Tragically Hip concert on Friday night at the century-old Byham Theatre, the Pens-Lightning tilt on Saturday night at the Mellon Arena in its final season and the Steelers-Browns game on Sunday at Heinz Field. After the game, we left the stadium and wandered around the building, not sure where we were going. We keep circling and suffendly come across none other than Stefan Logan signing autographs (man, they leave the stadium ASAP after the game!). Total fluke. I called out: "Stefan! He lifts his arm nonchalantly. I say: "Stefan! B.C. Lions!" as I point to my Leos gear I wore to the game. He looks up and smiles and comes over — and asks: "How's Wally doing?" (could have been asking about Whalley; not quite sure). Anyway, it was cool to be able to talk to him for a bit, get him to sign my Lions shirt and get some pics with him after seeing him play for the Steelers. As one lady behind me said to him: "My, you are short!"
Ha!
So which QB do the Riders gameplan for?

Among, yes, but Ricky Foley has stepped into Wake's role nicely. He and Baggs would be my choices for all-star DEs.

Agreed - Foley is indeed a stud. Bagg has a slight edge in my books as well, Chick has to stop over-running the QB in pursuit.

It is quite remarkable how many drops the QB's have been forced to watch by the receivers this year. Just take 50% of them as completions instead of incompletions/interceptions and I wonder what the stats on the year (and possibly the record) would look like.

Almost makes you want to go out and get a receivers coach, especially considering ALL receivers have been guilty of dropping catchable balls all season. Just some more than others...

Man Ken I could not have expressed my frustration any clearer than how you just put it...

Our so-called "receivers coach" has been too busy with the duties of the offensive coordinator job (which he has been vehemently denied to have been all along), to do the job that was supposedly created for him, so he could be rehired here again???

Festivities for Canadian football's biggest celebration are now just under three months away and on Tuesday, details of the musical line up were released.

Scotiabank Gala Concert - Saddledome - Saturday, November 28

The Scotiabank Gala Concert will feature a cross section of award winning Canadian artists from coast to coast leading a celebration of Canadian football. The headquarters for Calgary's Party. The Molson Canadian Quick Six Saloon features some of Canada's most recognizable and up-and-coming musical talents. Friday, November 27th, Econoline Crush and 54-40 will take the stage. Saturday, November 28th, Aaron Pritchett, Alberta's Gord Bamford and One More Girl will perform.
